Geo MEPG4

A newly developed video codec by GeoVision that offers better image quality, higher frame rate and smaller recording size. GeoMPEG4 allows GV-1000 and GV-900 to achieve better recording performance than other codecs. The graph below shows test results comparing GeoMPEG4, M-JPEG and the Wavelet codecs.

Note. Both tests were done using a GV-1000 recording at 16 channels. The recording size was calculated by using GV-1000 recording at 480fps (30fps x 16 cameras) for 15 minutes.
